What: A traditional Havre de Grace parade
Where: Begins at Warren Street and Union Avenue and continues down Union Avenue and down around Commerce Street at Tydings Park
When: Sunday, July 1, 2018 starts at 2 pm
Theme: “Havre de Grace Honors America’s Volunteers”
Participants: Many familiar faces will be returning including several Harford County High School Bands!
PLEASE NOTE: The Havre de Grace Police will remove any lawn chairs, blankets, etc. that are set-up on the area between the sidewalk and the street before 8 a.m. the day of the Parade (Sunday, July 1st)
You can NOT set anything out along the Parade Route before 8 A.M. on Sunday, July 1, 2018 (Parade Day) It will be removed by the Havre de Grace City Police.
DOWNTOWN BLOCK PARTY follows the parade
What: “Fun for the Entire Family” – watch for updates but will include activities like hula hoop contests, dunk tank, Uncle Sam says, and more!
Where: N. Washington and St. John Streets
When: Sunday, July 1 from 4 – 8pm
You won’t want to miss the Independence Day Dunk Tank! Sunday July 1 – after the parade – at the Downtown Block Party on Washington Street.
Try your hand at dunking these local friends of Havre de Grace! Just $1/throw. All proceeds benefit the Havre de Grace Independence Day Commission. Hope to see you there!!

CONCORD POINT CONCERT & FIREWORKS
What: FREE “Battle of the Bands” Concert
WHERE: Concord Point Park at the Light House
When: Sunday, July 1 from 5 – 9 pm
PATRIOTIC MUSIC from 9 – 10 pm to accompany the fireworks display.
FIREWORKS will begin approximately 9:30 pm with the display lasting 20-25 minutes. The fireworks are shot from a barge just east from the park, south of the Concord Point Lighthouse. Fireworks viewing area all along the waterfront.
Food Vendors will be available.

The Amish Outlaws to perform a Concert at Hutchins Park
Sunday, July 1, 2018 as part of Independence Day Celebration.
Limited tickets available May 1st on Eventbrite and at gate.
What: This concert is a fundraiser for the Havre de Grace
Independence Day Commission.
Where: Hutchins Park at the foot of Pennington Avenue
When: Sunday, July 1st from 7 – 10 pm
Food and drinks available for purchase.
Vendor: HdG American Legion
Kid-friendly concert area to include: moon bounce, face painting, and other low impact activities.
Great place to watch the fireworks that will begin
approximately 9:30 pm
The Amish Outlaws are known for their high energy, performing music ranging from Johnny Cash to Jay-Z in full Amish Garb.
- No coolers, bottles, outside alcohol
- No weapons will be permitted in Hutchins Park.
- Must be 21 to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages.
- No leaving park with alcoholic beverages.
- No disorderly conduct.
- No public intoxication.
- Beer sales end at 9:00 p.m.
- Hutchins Park will be closed at 10:30 p.m.
- People found in violation will be removed or possibly arrested.
